Welcome to AlgoChef. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AlgoChef website (algochef.app) and services ("Service").
By accessing or using AlgoChef, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

This license terminates when you delete your data or close your account. Upon termination we will delete identifiable data within the retention window described in our Privacy Policy.
License to Us — Anonymized & Aggregated Data In addition, you grant AlgoChef a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute anonymized and aggregated data derived from your uploads for:
"Anonymized and aggregated" means data that has been stripped of any identifier tied to you, your account, or your specific strategies, and that is processed in combination with data from other users so that no single user's strategy can be reconstructed or identified. This license survives account termination because, by definition, anonymized and aggregated data no longer identifies you.
AlgoChef will only publish aggregated statistics and will never expose, resell, or disclose any individual user's strategy data.
You represent and warrant that you own the data you upload, or that you have all rights and permissions necessary to upload it and grant AlgoChef the licenses described above, and that uploading the data does not violate any agreement you have with a broker, data provider, signal service, employer, or other third party.
Data Accuracy You are responsible for the accuracy of data you upload. We process data as provided and are not responsible for errors in your source data.
Backups While we maintain backups, you are responsible for maintaining your own copies of important data. We are not liable for data loss.
All content, features, functionality, source code, design elements, user interfaces, visual layouts, color schemes, typography choices, animations, iconography, illustrations, data structures, database schemas, documentation, and proprietary scoring methodologies of the Service are the exclusive property of AlgoChef and are protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
This includes, without limitation:
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, AlgoChef grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own personal or internal business purposes. This license does not grant you any ownership interest in the Service, the Scores, or any output generated by the Service. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by AlgoChef.
You agree that you will NOT, and will not permit, enable, or encourage any third party to:
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, underlying algorithms, methodologies, weights, thresholds, formulas, or trade secrets of any AlgoChef Score, metric, or analytical output — whether by automated means, inspection of network traffic, timing attacks, statistical inference from output, differential testing, or any other method.
Attempt to identify, reconstruct, publish, or disseminate the internal structure, component weights, or calculation methodology of the AlgoChef composite score, profitability, risk, confidence, or health signals, or any other AlgoChef proprietary score.
Scrape, crawl, harvest, mine, or extract data from the Service using bots, automated agents, headless browsers, or any other non-human-driven means.
Copy, reproduce, clone, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Service's user interface, visual design, interaction patterns, layout, iconography, or any other design elements — in whole or in part — whether for a competing product, a portfolio piece, a tutorial, or any other purpose.
Use AlgoChef's outputs, Scores, or reports to train, evaluate, benchmark, or develop a competing product, machine learning model, scoring system, analytical service, or AI system of any kind.
Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, attribution, watermark, or other proprietary notice displayed on or within the Service.
Frame, mirror, embed, or republish the Service or any portion thereof on any other website, application, or distribution channel without AlgoChef's prior written consent.
Use the Service for competitive intelligence, benchmarking, or analysis by or on behalf of a competitor, or to evaluate whether to build or improve a competing product.
Bypass, disable, or circumvent any rate limiting, authentication, access control, digital rights management, or other technical measure intended to protect the Service.
Publicly disclose performance, accuracy, validation, or methodology details of AlgoChef Scores beyond what AlgoChef itself has publicly disclosed, including in academic papers, blog posts, YouTube videos, forums, Discord servers, social media, or public datasets, without AlgoChef's prior written consent.
Violation of any of the above will result in immediate termination of your license to use the Service, may give rise to injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction, and may expose you to claims for damages, including lost profits, reputational harm, legal costs, and attorneys' fees. AlgoChef reserves the right to pursue all available remedies, legal and equitable.
"AlgoChef", the AlgoChef logo, "Casey Score Index", "CSI", and any other AlgoChef trademarks, service marks, trade names, or logos (collectively, the "Marks") are proprietary to AlgoChef. You may not use the Marks without AlgoChef's prior written permission, except for factual, non-commercial reference (for example, stating that you use AlgoChef) consistent with ordinary fair-use principles. Any use of the Marks must not imply endorsement, partnership, sponsorship, or affiliation without express written consent.
If you provide AlgoChef with feedback, suggestions, bug reports, feature requests, testimonials, or other comments regarding the Service, you grant AlgoChef a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, fully sublicensable license to use, modify, publish, and incorporate such feedback into the Service or any other AlgoChef product, without any obligation to compensate or credit you. Feedback is not considered confidential.
AlgoChef respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. If you believe that content available on or through the Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to legal@algochef.app including: (a) a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed; (b) a description of where the material is located on the Service; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; and (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf. AlgoChef will respond to valid notices in accordance with applicable Canadian copyright law and, where applicable, the US DMCA.

Changes to Pricing We may change our pricing at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect.

AlgoChef is an analytical tool, not a financial advisor.
You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.
AlgoChef's proprietary scoring system (including its composite score, profitability, risk, confidence, and health/degradation signals) is an analytical heuristic based on statistical analysis of historical trade data. It is not a predictive guarantee. Scores may be miscalibrated, incomplete, biased, or fail to capture factors that determine real-world trading outcomes. The scoring methodology may change over time as our research evolves. You acknowledge that any decision to trade, size, or allocate capital based on any AlgoChef score is solely your own, and that a favorable score does not imply future profitability.
Portfolio Studio outputs — including allocation weights, rebalancing suggestions, rotation alerts, backtest results, and composition recommendations — are algorithmic suggestions generated from historical data and user-selected configuration. They do not account for live market conditions, execution costs, slippage, liquidity constraints, broker restrictions, tax implications, or your personal financial circumstances. AlgoChef makes no representation that following any Portfolio Studio recommendation will produce any particular result, and assumes no responsibility for trading outcomes based on its use.
The Risk Disclosure document is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted the Risk Disclosure in its entirety.
Trading involves substantial risk of loss. You may lose some or all of your invested capital.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Informal Resolution Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at support@algochef.app. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days.
Arbitration If informal resolution fails, any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the ADR Institute of Canada, Inc. in accordance with its then-current Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be conducted in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in the English language, before a single arbitrator.
Class Action Waiver To the extent enforceable under applicable Canadian consumer protection law, you agree to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis, and you waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
Exceptions Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property infringement or unauthorized access to the Service.
Entire Agreement These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AlgoChef regarding the Service.
Severability If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Waiver Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
Assignment You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
No Third-Party Beneficiaries These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights.
